Wedding Bliss

Richard and I were just blown away with all the people that came to be a part of our day. We had so many special moments with friends and family who came from far and wide. We felt so loved; we knew it before, but that day we felt it with the people who braved the snowy elements, who drove for hours and hours, who baked cakes (yay, Bonnie!), decorated rooms, etc. Definitely more than we asked or imagined.

Wedding Photos

Last name terets

I still struggle with saying my last name. I forget my new identity often, still introducing my self with the wrong name. Thus leading me to yell or overly pronounce my new last name. It's hard. It's not something i thought i would struggle with.

But i like being married. I like having a new way of sharing my spaces, and filling in closets and pockets with memories that no longer just pertain to me. I still have many boxes that i have to go through, to throw out or keep. Everything has a new worth now, because it's not just about my values.

i like being married. It's ordinary in a comfortable way.
